Colèchi continued the YKWU (You Knit With Us) series at The Lab E20 for an Autumn/Winter edition from September 2022; in partnership with Fashion District and Get Living. YKWU invites designers, students and the local community to engage in the production of fashion through the medium of knitting. The Autumn/Winter series kicked off with a crochet special led by Kimberley Cookey-Gam, founder of Crochet Cookey, teaching the group her signature crochet design in the shape of coasters. The following sessions were led by Tobi Opesan, knitwear designer who showed us her signature heart shapes; followed by knitwear and jersey specialist Fadzi Sango who led a hot water bottle cover pattern.
