We were invited to join the Climate Emergency Network’s Earth Day series of collective experiences which took place across several of UAL’s campus’. The premise of the festival was to invite students, educators and the public to take a seat at the table. Throughout the day UAL students, staff, alumni and guests gathered in communal spaces across their London sites to create a series of collective experiences in the name of social and ecological justice.
We presented our platform diss.course, which invites students and alumni to share thoughts and concepts stemming from unpublished dissertations at Central Saint Martins. At London College of Fashion, we presented the Clean Fashion Table which displayed materials on a dinner table as if it were food to provoke discussions on the origins of our fiber as a parallel to the discussion of where and how our food is grown.
